The Kingsport Art Guild is a nonprofit organization founded in 1949. An
important part of the cultural life of Kingsport, the Guild is located in the
Kingsport Renaissance Center near the downtown area of Kingsport.
Our purpose is to provide opportunities to study and exhibit the visual arts of
our community.

Plein Air Workshop (oil) with Karen Hewitt Hagan
August 21-23, 2008

This class will focus on the
skills that will prepare you to create stronger plein air paintings; better
color mixing, creating stronger compositions from the natural landscape and
learning to capture the light effect quickly on smaller canvases.
You will need 3 small (8x10
or 6x8) canvases or panels for each day.
Supply list provided upon
registration. Demos each day with individual instruction and discussion.
